February 6, 2009Based on the continuing decrease in fuel prices, effective February 6th 2009, Hartsfield Warehouse Atlanta is pleased to announce a decrease in our fuel surcharge to thirteen percent (13%). This will apply to all local trucking services performed on or after February 6th, 2009. We will continue to monitor the price of fuel, using the national index, and adjust this percentage when necessary. December 8, 2008HWC is pleased to announce that we are now offering flatbed service to the local, state and regional markets that we serve. October 31, 2008Effective Monday, Nov. 3rd 2008 the IPI cargo and full truckload fuel surcharges will decrease to 28%. October 16, 2008Effective Monday, October 20th 2008 IPI cargo and full truckload fuel surcharges will decrease to 30%. July 10, 2008HWC is raising the minimum charge for Area E locations to $85.00. The coverage that this area spans and the increasing cost of fuel makes this rate adjustment necessary. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. June 23, 2008HWC CFS rates increase on June 23rd. Due to the increasing costs of equipment, insurance, propane, supplies and labor, we will be increasing our CFS and General Order rates. Customers may get charges for their shipments on our website at CFS Availability. Hartsfield offers new service in Savannah. Our Savannah warehouse is offering a Cross Dock program that lets our customers bring their product straight from the Port to our warehouse, where HWC unloads the containers, segregates the product by Distribution Center, palletize and shrink wrap the product and then ship it to destination.
